Oral cancer develops in the tissue of mouth or throat and belongs to the head and neck cancer group. It happens when the cells in a particular area of the mouth develop changes in their DNA.

Signs and Symptoms include:
  • Patches on the lining of the mouth or tongue

  • A lump or thickening of the skin
