Prostate Cancer - Causes, Symptoms, Treatment And Prevention

Prostate cancer starts when cells in the prostate gland begin to grow uncontrollably. The prostate gland is located below the bladder and is placed in front of the rectum, and is found in the males. It is responsible for the production of semen, and the size of it changes with the age.

Causes of prostate cancer:
The reason behind the prostate cancer is not specified. On a basic level, it is caused by the changes in DNA that occur in a healthy prostate cell. DNA is a chemical that is present in our cells and makes our genes. Our genes are responsible for the functioning of our cells. When a mutation occurs in an abnormal cell, it causes the cell to grow and divide on a faster rate in comparison with healthy cells. The abnormal cells live even after the normal cells die and get accumulated. These accumulated abnormal cells then further result in a tumor.
