Breast Cancer Types And Stages

Breast cancer only occurs when cells in the breast become virulent in nature and the result of these virulent cells is that a tumor is formed in the breast part of the human body. This disease of breast cancer is being spotted earlier as it is very common, and has a quick breast cancer treatment process.
  
Types of breast cancer:  
There are many types of breast cancer but the most common types are:
  1. Ductal carcinoma in situ
  2. Invasive ductal carcinoma

Stages of breast cancer:
The stage of the imminent breast cancer is needed to be determined so that the best breast cancer treatment method could be used to cure this disease. 

      1.   STAGE 0:  Ductal carcinoma in situ is another name for stage zero of breast cancer.
           Cancer in this stage has not spread anywhere else than the ductal cord in the breast

      2.   STAGE I: The cancer cells have not spread anywhere other than the breast in stage I.
            The size of the tumor is not more than that of 2 cm.

      3.   STAGE II: When the cancer is spread less than that of 2 cm but is spread across the 
            underarm lymph nodes or when a tumor is in between of 2 cm and 5 cm but has not     
            Spread across the lymph node then that stage of cancer is called breast cancer of stage  
            II.

      4.   STAGE III: Locally advanced cancer is another name of stage III breast cancer. In this
            Stage of cancer the tumor is more than 5 cm and has spread on and around the breast.

      5.   Recurrent cancer: It is the stage that mostly occurs after the treatment or when the 
            treatment is about to start due to the spread of disease before the treatment or undetected cells                  due to which cancer keeps on coming back. 

 All these stages of cancer could be treated or properly taken care of in Delhi cancer hospitals.
